Is world GDP a cash flow?
No. GDP measures production/value added over a period. The per-second view is a visualization of an annual total, not a bank account.
Why can global totals change after publication?
Statistical agencies revise methods and inputs, and new data arrives. Revisions are normal for large economic indicators.
